Five79 was set up to take on re-introducing some of the discontinued Chivers Finelines etched brass and whitemetal kits that where slowly disappearing into oblivion. There are around 50 Etched brass and whitemetal kits that we have taken over and we are working our way though them. We are aware that there maybe some kits from the original range that we may not be able to re-introduce. These etched brass and whitemetal kits are mostly in 4mm scale standard gauge.
As well as the previously mentioned, Five79 are currently working on ALL NEW kits across a wide variety of scales. Keep up to date by checking our news page.
IMPORTANT CHANGES TO FIVE79
We have transferred the 7mm Narrow Gauge loco kits over to my brother Simon at Slimrails who has a huge range of Chivers 0-16.5/0n30 plastic kits. Now with the addition of the white metal loco kits, puts it all under one name! Have a look at there extensive range at www.slimrails.co.uk .
This means Five79 can work on releasing the massive etch brass range and 4mm locomotive kits.
